building scienceThe Building Science and Construction major prepares students for many different kinds of construction activities, from building highways and bridges, to installing kitchen cabinets.  Students will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood or other materials.  Students will experience real-life application, decision-making, and problem solving opportunities through hands-on industry experience and project based learning.

Students may credential in: NCCER Core; OSHA 10hr; NCCER Carpentry I, II, & III; NCCER Plumbing I & II; fork-lift operator

The Plumbing Technologies major teaches students about drainage, waste removal and water supply pipe systems and blue print reading.  Students work alongside a Master Plumber covering topics such as layout, assemble, install, and maintain piping fixtures; basic plumbing safety; plumbing tools; oxy-fuel cutting; motorized equipment; and various pipes, fittings and materials.

Students may credential in: NCCER Core; OSHA 10hr; NCCER Plumbing and Pipefitting I, forklift operator
